Here, I want us to understand clearly that the anointing oil or anointing in a man or in any child of God is not to take the place of prayer in our lives as believers.

It is only a covenant sign, symbol and representation of God's presence and power to heal the sick or do the impossible.

The Anointing set the Priest of God apart from the rest of the Congregation

(X) It was commanded and meant to set the priest and ministers apart in a very unique way from the rest of the congregation of the people of God according to the following scriptures - Leviticus 21:1-21

Neither shall he go in to any dead body, nor defile himself for his father, or for his mother; -Leviticus 21:11
